At AMP's (AMP) non-profit Community Media
Center, we can help your organization make effective use of
electronic media for little or no cost. Our mission is to enable
local, noncommercial media programming to benefit the community
at large. Whatever your non-commercial media needs, AMP can
help you use media to your best advantage.
Services
AMP offers a number of services to community non-profit organizations:
- Training: Learn the skills and technology you'll
need to create your own media and deliver effective organizational
messages.
- Hosting content for delivery via the Internet. Your
non-commercial video, audio, or images can be delivered
securely via our media delivery systems.
- Airtime and scheduling for video programming on
cable television.
- Production of media for your organization. Deliver
effective messages for whatever organization you represent
through partnership in our Community Media Center.
- Equipment: Leverage our technology for your organization.
Create your own production by using our resources.
How Do I Get Started?
Attend a Community Orientation, offered every Monday at 5:30
PM. At this orientation we'll talk with you about your
media goals and give you the information you need to get started
right away.
Become a Community Partner or Associate
Community Partners and Associates gain access to our wide selection
of services and support for an annual fee. A two-tier membership
structure allows you to choose the level of support your organization
needs.
Community Partners gain access to:

Production support at discounted
rates

Special airing of announcements
on Comcast cable Channel 27

Use of AMP facility for functions
(subject to availability and maintenance fee)
Community Associates gain access to all of the
above plus:
- Media consultation
- Production of one annual 30 or 60 second PSA.
- Discount rate on equipment "rental".
- Online services (available soon): on-demand streaming
video and website development consultation. (Host
service will be fee-based.)
- Collaboration in seeking underwriting to support media
services for your organization.
