Weekly AMP Update

February 2, 2005

Happy Groundhog Day!

Result: February 2, 2005 - around 7:30 am ET - Punxsutawney, PA

Phil saw his shadow and thus we are headed for 6 more weeks of winter!

The intention of this weekly email update is to keep you informed about what is going on here at AMP…schedules, volunteer opportunities, special events, and the like. If you have information you would like to include in a future update, please send it to me via email at dawn@ampmedia.org. Likewise, if you would prefer not to receive these updates, just send an email to my email address with “remove” in the subject line, and I will take you off. Finally, if you know someone who is not receiving these messages who would like to, please forward that information to me as well!

AMP Membership = Amy Goodman Tickets!!
Join AMP as a member during the month of February and receive a ticket to sit in one of the first four rows of Amy Goodman’s July 9th lecture in Monterey. Of the 494 seats available, only 124 are in the first four rows, so sign up before this limited opportunity is gone! Tickets will go on sale to the General Public March 1st, and the event is sure to be a sell-out. Take advantage of this pre-sale opportunity to support AMP and secure your up-close seat to hear Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman speak.

An Individual Membership is an investment of $100.00 and includes one reserved ticket to Amy Goodman while a Household Membership is an investment of $175.00 and includes two reserved tickets to Amy Goodman. The front row center seat will go to the first person to join and seats will continue to be assigned on a first come, first served basis throughout February…the sooner you take advantage of this opportunity, the better your seat will be! Starting in March, tickets will be general seating only.

Contact Dawn Pease Bryant at AMP by calling 333-1267 or emailing to dawn@ampmedia.org. Membership priority will be based on receipt of payment for membership. Payment can be made with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard (a 3% processing fee will apply to credit card transactions).

Become a member today and secure your reserved seat to see Amy in July!
