Weekly AMP Update
December 10, 2004
Hello! Sorry for the delay – the blackout Friday afternoon prevented
me from sending this out until this morning – hope you can join us at
this Thursday’s reception (see below).
The intention of this weekly email update is to keep you informed about
what is going on here at AMP…schedules, volunteer opportunities, special
events, and the like. If you have information you would like to include
in a future update, please send it to me via email at dawn@ampmedia.org.
Likewise, if you would prefer not to receive these updates, just send
an email to my email address with “remove” in the subject line, and I
will take you off. Finally, if you know someone who is not receiving these
messages who would like to, please forward that information to me as well!
Okay, so what is up at AMP this week? Here are some highlights:
An Invitation You are cordially invited to a Holiday Reception with the AMP Board of Directors and staff on Thursday afternoon, December 16th at 5:30 PM here at AMP. Holiday cheer will abound and light refreshments will be served. No need to RSVP, just join us if you can! CHAMPS B.B.Q. CHAMPS B.B.Q. this past Saturday was a great hit! Edgar Kennedy Awards Remember that the Edgar Kennedy Awards are coming February 24, 2005! Deadline for submission is Friday, January 21, 2005. Everyone with content produced during 2004 in Monterey County is encouraged to submit their work! Holiday Schedule AMP will be closed on Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day in celebration of the holidays. We will also close at 5:00 PM on Friday, December 17th. Program Submission Due to the holidays, all programming for Christmas weekend must be submitted by noon on Tuesday, December 21st and all programming for New Year’s weekend must be submitted by noon on Tuesday, December 28th.
